Clapgrep is a program for searching through all files, a free and open source program
Review
- Clapgrep can search through all types of text files, PDFs, and office documents, and that’s not all;
- To start searching through files, you need to enter a search query and click on the “Start Search” button;
- You can select a specific folder to search for information in files;
- Clapgrep will display on which page / line in which file the information you are looking for is located;
- You can cancel the file search at any time by clicking on the “Cancel Search” button;
- Clapgrep shows the number of searched files and the number of matches;
- You can enable search by additional file formats: PDF and office files;
- Available search options: case-sensitive, disable regular expression, enable hidden / ignored.
