Review
- The Snoop program searches through the contents of files;
- The search is performed in a specific folder to choose from;
- Search Settings:
- Case-sensitive search,
- Search only for whole words,
- Ignore hidden files and folders,
- Search using regular expressions;
- “Simple View” option: hides the search settings in the main window;
- Snoop provides the Nautilus extension for quick search from the context menu. If you are using the Flatpak version, you can install the Nautilus extension directly from the settings dialog box;
- Preview of the search results (double-click the line to open it);
- The previous search queries and the selected folders for the search also remain.
