ANoise - an ambient noise player

ANoise is a free and open source user-friendly app that allows you to play ambient/background noises

It is possible to download ambient noises from the community;
There is a sleep timer;
It is possible to enable autorun at system startup;
Available ambient noises during installation: coffee shop, fire, forest, night, rain, sea, storm, wind;
It works without a network connection.

The software ANoise is available for installation on Linux.

Install Software via PPA repository

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:costales/anoise
sudo apt update
sudo apt install anoise-gui

Installing ambient noise from the community:

sudo apt install anoise-community-extension*

Note: To install ambient noise from the community in xUbuntu 20.04, use the following command:

sudo apt install "~nanoise-community-extension*"
