Asunder – free and open source graphical audio CD ripper and encoder for Linux

  • An application for saving tracks from an audio CD as files: WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC, Wavpack, Opus, Musepack, Monkey’s Audio, and AAC;
  • Asunder uses CDDB to name and tag each track;
  • Asunder creates playlists in M3U format;
  • The Asunder program can encode into multiple formats in a single session;
  • Simultaneous rip and encoding;
  • It is possible to change the name and artist of the album, as well as the genre and year in each track;
  • It is possible to select a save folder;
  • There is an option to select an optical drive, as well as to eject the CD after the operation is finished;
