Avvie – free and open source software for quick cropping and downsizing images

Applying filter: sharpen;
There is a rotation function;
It is possible to flip (mirror) vertically or horizontally;
Export to PNG and JPEG formats;
You can import an image by dragging it (Drag’n’drop) or opening it through the program window in the file Manager;
Hold down the Shift key to move the selection rectangle slowly, and hold down the CTRL key to move it faster.

The software Avvie is available for installation on Linux.
