Blue Recorder is a free and open source simple program for recording desktop videos on Linux, supports Wayland and Xorg

It is possible to set the name of the recording file;
It is possible to choose a location/folder for saving the recording file;
It is possible to choose the output format of the recording file: MKV, AVI, MP4, WMV, GIF, NUT;
It is possible to select a window or area for video recording;
It is possible to choose whether to record or not: video or audio;
There is an option to show the cursor or not, as well as follow the cursor or not;
It is possible to select the frame rate;
It is possible to set the delay before recording video from the screen in seconds;
There is an option to select an audio source;
It is possible to execute the command after recording.
