CoolReaderNG is an open source cross-platform ebook reader using crengine-ng. This is a fork of the CoolReader project.

Supported e-book formats through the use of the crengine-ng library: fb2, fb3 (incomplete), epub (non-DRM), doc, docx, odt, rtf, pdb, mobi (non-DRM), txt, html, Markdown, chm, tcr.

• There are several viewing modes available: one page, two pages, scroll;
• Displaying the contents of a book and navigating through it;
• There is a search;
• Selecting text and copying it to the clipboard;
• Word hyphenation using hyphenation dictionaries;
• The most complete support for FB2 styles, tables, footnotes at the bottom of the page;
• Extensive font rendering capabilities: the use of ligatures, kerning, selection of hint options, floating punctuation, simultaneous use of multiple fonts, including backup fonts
• Detection of the main font that is incompatible with the language of the book;
• Reading books directly from the ZIP archive;
• Automatic TXT reformatting, automatic encoding recognition;
• Flexible design using CSS files;
• Background images, textures, or solid backgrounds;
• HiDPI support;
• Multi-tab interface;
• Bookmark support;
• You can zoom in (zoom in/out), and page rotation is also supported;
• Full-screen mode support;
• You can set up an action at startup: restore the session, show a list of recent books, show a file opening dialog, do nothing;
• It is possible to choose the interface style: Breeze, Windows, Fusion.
