Ex Falso is a free and open source, multi-platform program for viewing and editing audio file tags

  • Ex Falso is a tag editor with the same tag editing interface as Quod Libet;
  • Supported file formats: Ogg Vorbis/Opus/Speex/FLAC, MP3, FLAC, MOD/XM/IT, Musepack, Wavpack, MPEG-4 AAC, Monkeys Audio, WMA, SPC, MIDI;
  • It is possible to view and edit the tags of audio files;
  • It is possible to add tags, as well as delete them;
  • It is possible to rename files based on their tags and custom templates;
  • Support for quick track numbering changes;
  • It is possible to change several files at the same time, even if the files are in different formats;
  • Full Unicode support;
  • Plugin support: export tracks to an M3U or PLS file, Replay Gain control, download album covers from various websites, search and view tracks with similar tags, and others.
