Filelight – free and open source, multi-platform utility for viewing information about disk usage with a graphical interface from KDE



Review

  • Scan local, remote or removable disks;
  • Filelight allows you to scan a single folder/directory to see which files and subdirectories take up the most disk space;
  • When you hover the mouse cursor, you can view the names of subdirectories and files;
  • In order to get more detailed information, you need to click on the desired sector;
  • Information about files and directories on hovering;
  • Files and directories can be copied or removed directly from the context menu;
  • It is possible to add directories/folders to scan exceptions;
  • It is possible to customize the appearance of the program: change the color (rainbow, system or contrast colors), enable/disable image smoothing, adjust the font, toolbars and their visibility.
