FreeCol is a computer game in the genre of turn-based strategy, a free clone of the game Sid Meier’s Colonization;
The goal of the game is to gain independence;
The game represents the colonization of the new world by the peoples of Europe;
There is an opportunity to engage in politics, economics (trade), diplomacy and war (fight with aborigines and other European civilizations);
There is a single-player and multiplayer game mode;
There is a built-in map editor;
There is an option to choose the rules: classic or FreeCol, as well as the difficulty of the game;
There is an opportunity to choose the country for which you will play and its advantage (trade, conquest, etc.);
It is possible to save/load the game;
It is possible to configure various game parameters;
