gImageReader is a simple application for optical character Recognition (OCR) (GUI Tesseract). Free and open source program

Multi-language recognition support;
UTF-8 support is available;
Image support for text recognition formats: jpeg, png, tiff, gif, pnm, pcx, BMP;
It is possible to increase the brightness and contrast of the image, change the angle of inclination;

The software gImageReader is available for installation on Linux and Windows.
