Gwenview – free and open source software for viewing images with simple editing features

Gwenview supports all common formats, as well as XCF (GIMP), animated MNG and GIF, vector SVG, and video files;
Supports simple image manipulations: rotate, mirror, flip, resize, cropping and red eye removal function;
Supports basic file management actions such as copy, move, delete, and others;
Support for full screen and slide show mode;
The start page lists recently opened folders and URLs on the left side, and your places and tags on the right side;
When in Browse Mode, you can easily navigate through your files and folders. The preview window shows thumbnails of the images in the current folder, as well as subfolders;
View Mode displays full-size images;
Sorting images: name, date, size;
Module support: printing, sending by email, import (remote storage, SmugMug, Google Drive) and export (jAlbum, 23, Dropbox, Facebook, Flash, Flickr, Imageshack, Imgur, Piwigo, Rajce.net, SmugMug, Zooomr, Yandex.Fotki, Google Drive) of images;
It is possible to change tags, set a rating, and add a description;
It is possible to save the image in the following formats: JPEG, PNG, TIFF, WBPM, WebP, EPS, PCX and others;
Can be extended using KIPI plugins;
Support for custom keyboard shortcuts.

The software Gwenview is available for installation on Linux.
