Jami uses peer-to-peer and does not require a server to relay data between users;
Jami uses state-of-the-art end-to-end encryption for all communications under the X.509 standard;
Support for personal and group chats/conferences;
Support for sending text messages;
Support for sharing images and files;
Support for audio/video calls and conferences;
It is possible to share the screen during video calls and conferences;
It is possible to record and send audio / video messages;
Functioning as a SIP phone software;
Plugin support: 1) Greenscreen-allows you to change the background during a video call or add a blur effect, 2) Watermark – you can add a watermark including your own logo and additional information such as text, current date and time to your video, 3) Reverb filter.

The software Jami is available for installation on Linux, Windows and macOS, as well as: mobile applications for Android and iOS.
