Notejot is a free and open source, simple program for creating short notes and writing ideas

It is possible to create several notebooks for more convenient sorting;
Formatting the text of the note: highlighting the text in bold/italics/underlined/strikethrough, add a list, remove formatting of the selected text;
It is possible to highlight a note in color;
There is an option to delete a note in the trash;
It is possible to set the text size: small, medium and large;
There is a search for notes;
Support for light and dark themes;
Support for keyboard shortcuts.

The software Notejot is available for installation on Linux.
