Merge PDF files:

You can merge all or part of the input PDF files: you can specify a range of comma-separated pages (for example, 1-10, 19, 101-103);
Interactive forms (AcroForms): merge fields, merge and rename fields, merge layers, discard forms;
Bookmarks: save, discard, or create a new bookmark tree with one entry for each merged PDF file;
Contents: do not create, create from file names, create from document names.

Splitting PDF files:

It is possible to split a PDF document: after each page, after each even or odd page;
It is possible to split after certain page numbers;
You can split every “n” pages (for example, after 10 pages).

The PDF mix module lets you merge two or more PDF files taking pages alternately from each input file, in straight or reverse order;
It is possible to rotate the document: clockwise or counterclockwise by 90, 180, 270 degrees on all pages or on even or odd pages;
The Extract module lets you extract pages from PDF files. Single pages or page ranges can be selected to create a new PDF file containing only the pages you need;
It is possible to divide a PDF document into pages with bookmarks according to the bookmark level, as well as into files of a specified size (megabytes, kilobytes);
You have the option to save and load user profiles.

The software PDFsam is available for installation on Linux, Windows and macOS.
