Peruse is a free multi-platform open source software for reading books and comics from KDE



Review

Supported format:

  • Comics archive (cbz, cbr, cb7, cbt, cba);
  • Portable document format (pdf);
  • ePub books (epub);
  • Device independent (dvi) files;
  • DeJaVu (djvu); Compiled help (chm);

  • The welcome page in Peruse shows your most recently read comics and their reading progress, as well as books that were recently added;
  • You can continue reading where you left off the last time;

Available sorting books by:

  • recently added;
  • grouping by name;
  • grouping by author;
  • grouping by series;
  • grouping by publisher;
  • filter by folder;

  • There is a search;
  • You can enable or remove folders for scanning the program for books;
  • Support for full-screen mode.
