Review

Data exchange is built using an encrypted F2F- / P2P-network, built on the basis of GPG algorithms and the protocol of perfect forward secrecy (Perfect Forward Secrecy);
Chat: Encrypted messaging is available in shared chats or personal chats (only possible when exchanging certificates and establishing a direct connection with a participant). You can insert emoticons, stickers, images and files into the chat, and you can also choose a font and color. There is a search in the chat. It is possible to save or delete the chat history;
Mail: all outgoing and incoming mail is stored only on the local computers of the exchange participants and only in encrypted form, if there is no recipient user in the network, no intermediate storage servers are used, and the message will be delivered when the desired user logs on to the network;
File sharing: you can share files with friends or the entire Retroshare network, access is configured for each folder separately, there is a search to search for files across the entire Retroshare network;
Forums: messages can be left anonymously and openly;
References (publications): it is possible to share links, as well as vote for them and comment on them;
Channels: allow you to publish your files. You can subscribe to channels and automatically download the latest files; comment on files and distribute them to your friends;
Retroshare can be used in Tor and I2P networks;
Audio/video calls (experimental): make free and secure calls with the VoIP plugin.
