RPhoto is a lightweight free and open source software for easy photo handling on Linux and Windows

Review

  • Crop/Rotate with Fixed Ratio. Crop images with a constant width/height ratio (by example 4:3 for numeric photos) to avoid blank borders when printing images, and to keep a consistent gallery;
  • It is possible to rotate, flip, crop, and resize arbitrarily or by maintaining the aspect ratio (for example, 4:3, 16:9, and so on), to the specified size (50%, 800×600, 100 KB, and so on) and without loss of quality;
  • It is possible to correct the inclination of photos;
  • You can view, edit metadata and add comments to JPEG images;
  • You can save photos in different formats: BPM, GIF, JPEG, PNG and TIFF;
  • You can add a note to the photo.
