Standard Notes – free and open source app with fully encrypted notes

Review

The interface is divided into three blocks:

  • A list of notes (all, archive, trash) and tags;
  • The headings of the notes;
  • The editor notes.

  • Seamless syncing between all your devices: Android, Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and web browsers;
  • Encrypt notes using AES-256;
  • Offline access to notes (you can access downloaded notes even without a connection);
  • You can protect your notes with a password;
  • You can pin, lock (protect from accidental changes), protect and move notes to the trash, which allows you to restore deleted notes until the trash is cleared;
  • There is a paid version that significantly expands the program’s features.
