Interface

There are quick access buttons on the top:

  • If you want to search the Internet for the text that you see in a message in Thunderbird, you can instantly launch a search from Thunderbird by selecting the desired word or phrase, right-clicking, and selecting “Search … in the search engine name” in the context menu (you can change the search engine);
  • Filelink for large attachments: many mail servers do not accept messages with large files in attachments. Filelink fixed this problem by providing support for online storage services. It allows you to upload attachments to an online storage service, and then replace the attachment in the message with a link. The recipient of the message clicks the link to download the attachment;
  • You can create a mailing list through the address book;
  • Integration with Lightning calendar;
  • Password manager. Storing, deleting, and changing passwords in Thunderbird. You can protect your passwords by creating a master password. You only need to enter the master password once per session;
  • Support for message encryption via GnuPG or the Enigmail extension;
  • You can configure or change the location of toolbar elements. Right-click on an empty space in the tab bar and select “Configure”;

Installation
