TV-Lite is a free and open source, multi-platform program for watching IPTV with Sopcast and Acestream handling capabilities

- TV-Lite wants to replace the older TV-Maxe program (TV-Lite does not have all the features that TV-Maxe offers);
- The program allows you to view IPTV, and can also work with Sopcast and Acestream;
- Support for the M3U format, which is used for many IPTV playlists;
- It is possible to add subscriptions or your own list of channels: add, change and delete;
- There is a search by channels, as well as sorting;
- It is possible to remove the side panel with TV channels;
- It is possible to choose the aspect ratio;
- It is possible to choose a video track, audio track or subtitles;
- It is possible to save subscriptions as local playlists;
- Support for full-screen mode;
- You need to install Acestream and, if necessary, Sopcast, so that this program can handle the appropriate types of streams.

Install Software via PPA repository
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tv-lite/ppa-git
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install tv-lite
For Acestream to work, you need to install:
sudo snap install acestreamplayer
