Ciano is a free and open source simple multimedia converter for Linux



Review

  • The Ciano program can convert audio and video files, as well as images;
  • Supported video formats: MP4, MPG, AVI, WMV, FLV, MKV, 3GP, MOV, VOB;
  • Supported audio formats: MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, AAC, FLAC, AIFF, MMF, M4A;
  • Supported image formats: MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, AAC, FLAC, AIFF, MMF, M4A;
  • It is possible to convert multiple files at the same time;
  • It is possible to change the output folder (the folder where the conversion files will be saved) or enable saving the conversion file to the original folder;
  • Notification support: on/off displaying notifications about the completion of the conversion and/or about an error during the conversion process;
  • Close the program with the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Q.
