Clapper is a free and open source, simple and modern media player for Linux GNOME

The Clapper media player runs on GStreamer (it can play almost all video and audio formats) with OpenGL rendering;
Clapper plays both local audio or video files, and streaming (YouTube, Vimeo, and others);
There are three modes: windowed-displays the controls, floating-displays the video on top of all other windows, hides the controls and full-screen;
Hardware acceleration support;
Playback functions: play/pause, rewind, volume control, video/audio track selection, playback speed selection;
MPRIS support;
Subtitle support;
It is possible to configure the repeat parameters: do nothing, stop at the last frame, close the application;
It is possible to set a custom playback volume level;
Support for two themes: light and dark;
Support for keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys).

The software Clapper is available for installation on Linux.
