Komikku – online/offline manga reader for GNOME, developed with the aim of being used with the Librem 5 phone



Review

  • Online reading from servers;
  • Offline reading of downloaded mangas;
  • You can choose which language to download the manga in;
  • You can enable auto-loading of new manga episodes;

Reading settings:

  • select the reading direction: left to right (RTL), right to left (LTR), vertical;
  • scaling: by screen, width, height, original size;
  • choose the background color: white or black;
  • crop or not the white borders of images;
  • automatically switches to full screen mode;
  • you can mark chapters as read/unread;

Types of navigation:

  • Keyboard arrow keys;
  • Mouse click;
  • Mouse wheel;
  • 2-fingers swipe gesture;

  • There is a search;
  • Two themes are available: light and dark (there is an option to automatically switch to a dark theme at night);
  • Support for keyboard shortcuts.
