Master Key is a password manager application that generates and manages passwords without the need to store them



Review

  • Passwords are generated using a combination of a master key, a website, and a login;
  • Passwords are never stored;
  • You can make a backup using a JSON file, and then restore it anywhere;
  • Account information is encrypted;
  • The design of the Master Key program follows the recommendations of the GNOME Human Interface;
  • Password generation: password length selection, enable/disable: upper/lower case, digits, symbols;

  • It is possible to change the master password;
  • Support for two design themes: light and dark;
  • It is possible to configure the clipboard cleanup (by default, 15 seconds);
