Musictube is a free and open source program to listen to music/songs from YouTube



Review

  • The interface consists of tabs: search, results, information and versions;
  • Musictube plays album tracks in original order and combines album covers, artist images and lyrics;
  • Musictube can play full albums or even discographies of millions of artists featured on YouTube;
  • Available actions with the playlist: adding tracks, clearing the list, deleting a specific track, moving a track up/down in the list, repeat, shuffle/random track;
  • It is possible to show/hide the video widget;
  • It is possible to view the video in the full program window;
  • There is an option to open a page of music/song /video on YouTube;
  • It is possible to select the video resolution: 360p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p, 2160p;
  • It is possible to customize the view of the program: show/hide tabs: search, results, information and versions, as well as show/hide the menu;
  • Scrobbling with Last.fm;
  • There is a function to stop playback after listening to the current one;
  • It is possible to control the volume in the program window;
  • There is a switch of tracks: next/previous;
  • It is possible to clear recent searches;
  • Full screen support;
  • Support for hot (shortcut) keys.
