NetSurf is a free and open source, multi-platform, minimalistic and fast web browser


  • NetSurf runs on its own engine;
  • NetSurf web browser, focused on weak devices and supports Linux and other *nix distributions, as well as RISC OS, Haiku, Atari, AmigaOS, Windows;
  • Fast and undemanding web browser;
  • Supported web standards: HTML 4.01 and CSS 2.1 (HTML5 and CSS3 under development), as well as JavaScript (must be enabled in the settings, ES2015 +; DOM API is partially implemented);

  • There is a web page search with text highlighting as you type;

  • It is possible to choose a start page;
  • It is possible to enable/disable pop-up blocking, show/hide ads;
  • It is possible to enable/disable the display of images;
  • Support for customizing the web browser interface;
  • It is possible to show/hide the menu and the button bar (forward/backward buttons, refresh, address bar, search bar);
  • There is a download manager;
  • Full screen support;
  • Support for keyboard shortcuts.
