Photoflare – free and open source, fast and simple, but powerful cross-platform image editor



Review

  • Interface: from above are the contextual control menu, just below the toolbar, below the processing/drawing field, the palette and drawing tools are located on the right;
  • It is possible to save the image in the following formats: PNG, JPG, BMP, PBM, PGM, PPM, ICO;
  • Print support image;
  • It is possible to view the properties of the image;
  • Support cancellation/repetition of actions.

Image processing/photos:

  • Transformation: vertical/horizontal reflection, turning on/counterclockwise;
  • Image trim tool;
  • Changing the size and scale of the image;
  • Color adjustment: brightness, contrast, auto light, auto contrast, saturation, gamma;
  • There is an opportunity to apply various filters to images/photos: shades of gray, old photography, sepia, softness, sharpness, elimination of noise and others;
  • Support for changing shade;
  • Available drawing tools: pipette, magic wand, line, pouring, aerosol, brush, graphic brush, stamp, blur, eraser, lubrication;
  • There is a palette of colors;
  • It is possible to add text;
  • It is possible to add a frame;

  • There is a batch processing tool with support for all editor functions;

  • It is possible to show/hide the panels: filters and tools;
