SongRec is a free and open source multi-platform unofficial Shazam client

Review

  • It is possible to recognize audio from an audio file and from a microphone;
  • It is possible to select an input device for audio recognition through a microphone;
  • There is an option to search on YouTube or play on Shazam;
  • It is possible to recognize songs from speakers, not from a microphone (in compatible PulseAudio setups);
  • There is a history of audio recognition: you can clear or export the list in CSV format;
  • Command line support.
