Timecard is a free and open source program that allows you to track how much time you spend on completing tasks

Timecard allows you to track how much time you spend on tasks: you can pause and start tracking;
It is possible to stop the tracking timer and save tracking data in the log;
View, delete, sort (by date, time, name/activity) and edit time log entries;
It is possible to configure the path to the time log, as well as the name of the log;
System Tray integration: start and pause time tracking;
There is an exit protection that helps prevent accidental closure while time tracking.

The software Timecard is available for installation on Linux.
