Variety – free and open source wallpaper downloader and manager for Linux systems

Running Variety at system startup;
It is possible to change the Wallpaper on your desktop after a specified period of time: seconds, minutes, hours, days;
You can choose sources for changing desktop Wallpapers: local folders or Internet services (Flickr, Unsplash, Wallhaven.cc and others);
You can copy images to favorites (you can choose a place to save them);
You can apply various effects to the Wallpaper: grayscale, blur, oil painting, pixelation, and others;
You can enable the display of random wise quotes (you can customize their appearance, location, sources, and time period for changing);
You can enable digital clock display;
You can customize the size and color;
Integration with the system tray: switch wallpapers, view the history of wallpaper changes, pause wallpaper changes.

The software Variety is available for installation on Linux.
